Eternity is a new romantic comedy in the making that could also include Elizabeth Olsen, Miles Teller, and Callum Turner in its cast according to the latest rumors. Born from a collaboration between A24 and Star Thrower Entertainment, the romantic comedy has already identified its director in David Freyne and, as reported by Deadline, he has shown interest in a trio of actors well-known on the big and small screen. In addition, it seems that Miles Teller and Elizabeth Olsen will also serve as executive producers. Plot details for Eternity are currently being kept under wraps. We know, however, that Pat Cunnane worked on the script, while A24 will produce the project together with Trevor White and Tim White of Star Thrower Entertainment.
Although we don't know many details relating to the plot, as Deadline reports, it is clear that Eternity will be a romantic comedy whose basic focus is eternity: each character will have to decide who they want to spend their life with. The cast involved is certainly prominent, starting with Elizabeth Olsen who in recent years has been busy on the Marvel front with Wanda Maximoff aka Scarlet Witch. For some time, however, the actress has distanced herself from the chaos unleashed in Wanda after what happened in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness and admitted that she wanted to explore other narrative possibilities on the screen, pausing the parenthesis in the MCU. With Eternity you will certainly have the opportunity to explore a different genre.
Miles Teller is also back from great successes such as Top Gun: Maverick. Soon he will return to the screen with Anya Taylor-Joy, star of The Gorge for Apple Original Films. She is currently filming the Michael Jackson biopic where she plays the King of Pop's longtime lawyer John Branca. Finally, Callum Turner appeared in The Boys in the Boat directed by George Clooney, and was recently involved in the miniseries Masters of the Air on AppleTV+.
