Jurassic World 4 may have found its protagonist: Scarlett Johanson, known to the general public for playing Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow in the MCU, should be in negotiations for the leading role in the fourth film of the saga. And, fans can't help but wonder if there will be the possibility of seeing Sam Neill return to the franchise and thus see his Dr. Alan Grant again. In the last chapter of the film saga, Jurassic World: Dominion, the protagonists of the first film - Neill, Jeff Goldblum, and Laura Dern - reunited with the characters of the new trilogy, thus closing a circle that began with the first Jurassic Park in 1993.

However, now that a fourth film has been announced, one wonders if there will be the possibility of seeing the old protagonists return, such as Dr. Alan Grant, played by Sam Neill. Interviewed by Forbes for the new series in which he took part, Apples Never Fall, Neill gave his definitive answer on the possible return of his character in Jurassic World 4. The actor explained that the Jurassic World franchise is not his main objective for the near future, thus closing the door on one of the characters who made him famous in cinema:

"Everything I know I see from social media...which I rarely look at. I have no idea what other people are thinking...Look, obviously, I can benefit from tennis - you see it in the series, but what about running away from dinosaurs...I think that's all"

After Owen Grady, played by Chris Pratt, and Claire Dearin (Bryce Dallas Howard), protagonists of the Jurassic World sequel trilogy, we will also have to say goodbye to Dr. Alan Grant and prepare for a new story with new characters. At the moment, the plot of the film is still top secret, but Davi Koepp, former screenwriter of the 1993 film, will work on the screenplay of the film, while the director will be Gareth Edwards, director of The Creator and a great fan of the franchise, as he declared.
