Production on The Last of Us season 2 is underway and another set location has drawn fans' attention to X. An image of the snow-covered house was shared on the platform, fueling speculation among fans it could be Joel Miller's residence in The Last of Us Part II. The unofficial While not identical to the images leaked online from Greenplace Market last month, the house looks similar enough to what was seen in the game to stir emotions among fans.
The new season will focus on the events of The Last of Us Part II. It has been confirmed for some time that not all the events of the game can be told in a single season, so at least two seasons will likely cover the sequel. Neil Druckmann and Craig Mazin have been cryptic about how many episodes and seasons there will be, keeping an aura of mystery around the production. Season two will see the addition of new cast members, including Catherine O'Hara, Danny Ramirez, Ariela Barer, Tati Gabrielle, and Spencer Lord. In particular, Kaitlyn Dever will play Abby, while Isabela Merced will be Dina.
