Star Wars fans, get ready to mark a new date on your calendar, as the official release date of The Mandalorian & Grogu movie has been confirmed: May 22, 2026. This long-awaited spin-off of the TV series The Mandalorian will bring to the big screen the adventures of two of the most beloved characters in the Star Wars universe: the valiant Mandalorian, Din Djarin, and his young companion Grogu, commonly known as Baby Yoda.

The choice to release The Mandalorian & Grogu movie on Memorial Day weekend could prove strategic, offering the film the chance to achieve great success at the box office. Disney has officially confirmed the release date along with other teases about their upcoming productions, including Toy Story 5, Moana 2, TRON Ares, and the mysterious Nightbitch starring Amy Adams.
