Lynda Carter, the iconic portrayer of Wonder Woman in the 1970s television series, shared her opinion on the future of Wonder Woman 3, underlining that in her opinion the film will not happen without strong demand from fans.

It appears that plans for a third Wonder Woman film have been abandoned by DC Studios.

In an interview with Yahoo! Entertainment, Carter expressed her disappointment with DC Studios' decision to halt plans for the third film in the series. According to her, the character of Wonder Woman is unique and represents values of peace and inner strength, and therefore deserves special treatment. Director Patty Jenkins, who was involved in the film project, had been working on a story that she Carter describes as “interesting and wonderful and important.”

However, it appears that plans for the film have been abandoned by DC Studios. Carter noted that her interest in the series grew when Jenkins and Gal Gadot came on the scene, and she praised the director's vision and Gadot's interpretation of her character. She also revealed that she's on great terms with both of them, underlining the importance of sharing Wonder Woman's legacy with another actress.

Despite the disappointment of the cancellation of the third film, Carter remains optimistic about the character's potential and his ability to inspire viewers of all ages. For her, Wonder Woman represents strength, beauty, and kindness, and these values are fundamental to her essence. Although it currently seems that the film is not destined to happen, Carter's hope is that strong pressure from fans will convince DC Studios to take the project back into consideration.
