Kalki 2898 AD

Kalki Movie Review: Prabhas.. not as a hero.. got recognition as a good actor. Playing different roles, he is advancing in his career. Kalki 2898 AD is the 50th film in his career. How is this movie released today?

Kalki Movie Story:

Kalki is a common man. He lives by running a salon shop. His wife dies.. He lives with his daughter. Maharaja's wife dies in an accident when the daughter is young. An iron trash can saves his daughter's life. So he named that trash Lakshmi.. He takes care of it very lovingly. In this order, the trash will be lost. The daughter goes to participate in a sports camp. He complains to the police to find Lakshmi before he comes.

The police are shocked to hear what the Kalki said. They don't understand why the waste basket is missing. The police shout at the Kalki 2898 AD. But he does not move from there. He says he will give money if he wants. Seeing his stubborn attitude, the police try to get a duplicate trash can. On the other hand, Selvam (Anurag Kashyap) is stealing with his friend. And what is the relationship between Selvam and Maharaja? Did they find the trash can? What did the police do to find it? The rest of the story is what happened to Maharaja's child who went to the sports camp.

Kalki 2898 AD Movie Analysis:

Complaining that the trash can is missing made the movie interesting. The first half is all about Kalki, and the story is directed as a comedy. On the other side, Selvam's thefts were shown. And the twist that comes before the interval increases the interest in the second half. But as the screenplay is written anew, the story will be understood in the second half starting itself. As the twists and turns are being revealed, the climax can also be expected in the middle of the second half. The screenplay looks good, but when it finally comes, it feels like a normal story. Good emotions are shown at the end of the movie.

Actors Performance:

When it comes to the acting of the actors, there is nothing special to tell the audience about Vijay Sethupathi's performance. No matter what the role is, he gets into it and lives it one hundred percent. Kalki 2898 AD is the 50th film in his career. Choosing the story of an ordinary middle-class father for this movie is remarkable, but Vijay Sethupathi living in that role is another step.

Kalki 2898 AD

It can be said that Vijay Sethupathi has nailed the role of Kalki. Young Tamil heroine Divya Bharathi will appear in a guest role. Selvanga Anurag Kashyap once again showed his villainy. And Abhirami in the role of Selvam's wife is pleasing. Mamata Mohan Das School PT teacher seems to be fine. Being a Tamil movie, we don't care much about the rest of the characters.

Technical aspects:

The screenplay is the main strength of Maharaja movie. The director has succeeded in making a straightforward story to hook the audience with a brand-new screenplay. It's a simple story, but they made it interesting to make the audience like it and make it a hit. And the cinematography visuals are good. The background music doesn't matter either. It can be seen on the screen that the film has been well spent in terms of production.
