Max Movie Analysis:
Recently, directors and producers have been trying to bring different films to the audience. Most of them are also achieving success. Especially, the way they are turning a story that happened in a matter of hours or a day into a film is impressive. You all must remember Karthi's film Khaidi, which came against such a backdrop. This film also came to the audience with an almost similar subject.
However, when the film Khaidi came, there was no idea that it could be a hit even with such subjects. But it seemed like an attempt was made to prove that point with this film. In a way, the director has also adapted how the heroes are being elevated with the heroism of Jailor Vikram in recent times for this film. Combining the two, director Vijay Karthikeya has presented an action-based commercial entertainer to the audience.
It would be a shame to watch a hero killing dozens of rowdies without any context. But if the right setup is set along with the hero elevations, the mass audience will definitely connect with the film. The setup required for the action sequences in this film has been set correctly to create that connection.
If you feel that the ‘prisoner’ effect is too much on the film after the beginning of this film, it is not your fault. Every time there are action scenes in this story, it is high, but when some scenes come, it feels like this. However, if the main twist had been revealed in advance and then the ending was more gripping and impressive to the audience, it would have connected even more. If you expect something new in the story and narration, this movie will disappoint you.
Actors Performance:
This is a cakewalk for Kichcha Sudeep. His ease has elevated this character a lot. His mannerisms have also been very useful in the action sequences. Sunil, who has been doing well lately, has once again impressed as a serious don. Varalakshmi's screen presence in the role of a police officer is good, but for some reason, it did not seem like a good role for her.
The performance of Tamil actor Ilavarasu, who played a key character in the story, was impressive. Coming to the technical aspects, the production design is the main asset of the movie. The background music is also good. The action block design is good. Although the story is routine, Sudeep's heroism along with the action blocks is the main asset of the movie.
Finally, 'Max' is enjoyed by the mass audience. Even though it is a routine commercial format film, action lovers will love 'Max'.
