Pushpa 2 Movie Review: The moments we had been waiting for have arrived. Pushpa entered the theater with dignity and the necessary elevation. It must be said that Pushpa started ruling with the success of the Patna promotion event. That event made us understand how much hype there is for ‘Pushpa 2’ not only in our Telugu states but also in the North.
With the promotions that started in Patna, this movie created hype like a triumph and spread across the country. After that, all the events became super hits. The latest pre-release function held in Hyderabad created a stir. In this context, the expectations of this movie are sky-high. However, the ticket rates have scared the common man. In this context, everyone, including the average audience, is waiting to see if the movie is there or not. Let’s see in the review whether it is there or not.
Pushap 2 Movie Story:
In Part One, Pushparaj (Allu Arjun), who started his life as a simple laborer, rises to the number one position in the red sandalwood smuggling mafia and becomes the leader of the syndicate. He is happily leading a life with Sreevalli (Rashmika), and one day he goes to meet Chief Minister Narasimha Reddy, who has come to Chittoor. He tries to take a photo with him as per his wife Sreevalli's request and gets frustrated.. His ego is hurt when the CM refuses, saying, 'I can't take a photo with a smuggler.'
In addition, the CM insults Sreevalli. With this, Pushparaj changes the CM. MP Siddappa (Rao Ramesh), who is always available to him and helps him in business, throws money at him and makes him the Chief Minister. But this does not please Union Minister Pratap Reddy (Jagapathi Babu). He wants to keep Pushpa under control. On the other hand, Pushpa focuses on expanding his business empire abroad.
In Part One, Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat (Pahlad Fazil), who is pending, is waiting to take revenge on Pushpa. If he wants to deal a fatal blow to his business, Chief Minister Siddappa Naidu (Rao Ramesh) tries to reconcile and apologize. But Pushpa, who said as he said, ... in his own style, hurts Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat's ego. With that, Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat... challenges him to turn Pushpa into a laborer again.
Along with all this, Mangalam Srinu (Sunil) and Dakshayani (Anasuya) are constantly coming up with new tricks to suppress Pushparaj, who has become the leader of the syndicate, despite him being the leader. Along with this, there is a personal conflict in Pushparaj's life. He is trying to get close to his family. His stepbrother Ajay is obstructing him. What happened then, what finally happened to Pushparaj's empire, and who gave the lead to Pushpa Part 3? You have to watch the movie to know such things.
Pushpa 2 Movie Analysis:
The director, who started the movie with an international touch, has led it with elevations at every step. The movie is commercially in the high range. The narration, which is not a problem even though it is three hours and fifteen minutes long, is a plus for the movie. The screenplay was designed so that there is a high every ten minutes.
Especially, the elements in the characterization like making Rao Ramesh the Chief Minister by spending money to satisfy his ego, and even after apologizing to Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat, his ego does not cool down but provokes him, are very popular with the masses. Also, the Gangamma Jatara in the second half is a mesmerizing episode. The story is well linked to that Jatara episode. In the climax, Mahishasura attacks the villain while the BGM comes on, which also gives a good high.
All these together, the scenes where Pushpa is struggling to meet her family in the movie are what captivate us. Even if everyone has any negative feelings about that character, the whole thing is washed away. The master of calculations went around adjusting the calculations.
Those scenes were very well done. The emotional scene between her and her step-brother at the end makes us remember it even after we leave the theater. Such things are not usually big in mass action movies, but Sukumar also wants to take his film to the family. That is why he has led the story of the second half in that direction. Overall, master screenplay writing is seen. However, due to the movie's lack of a strong villain, some episodes are boring as the war remains one-sided. And the episode where Shekhawat and Pushpa are making gestures is boring.
Pushpa 2 Actors Performance:
Allu Arjun's difficulty is visible at every step in the movie. In action scenes, the ease shown in showing attitude is not usual. Also, his maturity is visible in emotional scenes. Rashmika has been competing with Allu Arjun for most of the time.
Fahad Fazil, however, once again rocked the screen..it became clear in some places. Ajay looked different from his regular villain roles. Anasuya was useful for the storyline. Sreeleela was impressed with the song ‘Kissik’. Rao Ramesh, Sunil, and Anasuya do not have priority.
Technically:
Sukumar’s films are technically outstanding. The same happened this time. All the crafts competed and worked very well. There is something new to say about Sukumar’s direction. Devisree’s songs have already gone to the masses. The dialogues have merged in the film. The slang has been worked out perfectly. Sam CS’s background score plays a key role in the film. Kooba’s camera work has been a big plus for the film.
