The Hunting Party is a “high-profile crime procedural” that revolves around a team of elite investigators assembled to track down and capture the most dangerous assassins the United States has ever seen, all of whom have just escaped from a top-secret, maximum-security prison that shouldn’t exist. The facility is called “The Pit, " a hexagonal-shaped underground building created specifically to house the most fearsome criminals. Melissa Roxburgh plays Rebecca “Bex” Henderson, a streetwise former FBI agent recruited into the group at the center of the story because of her reputation as an expert profiler. After an explosion with mysterious origins, Rebecca must track down the inmates, leading a team to uncover the explosion's origins as well.

The Hunting Party also stars Nick Wechsler (Revenge, Chicago PD) as Oliver Odell, Patrick Sabongui (Homeland) as Ryan Hassani, Josh McKenzie (La Brea) as Shane Florence, and Sara Garcia (The Flash) as Jennifer Morales. Kyra Leroux (Riverdale) will have a recurring role.
