Adivi Sesh’s G2, the sequel to his 2018 spy thriller Goodachari, finally has a release date. The makers have announced that the film will arrive in theatres worldwide on February 5, 2027, following months of production across several locations.
The movie is being planned as a pan-India release and will hit theatres in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam. With a bigger international setting and a new team behind the camera, G2 is looking to expand the world introduced in the first film.

A Bigger Spy Story Shot Across Six Countries
G2 is directed by Vinay Kumar Sirigineedi, who is making his directorial debut with the film. The production has reportedly been spread across more than 150 days and six countries, with the team also constructing 23 custom sets for the movie.
The sequel brings Adivi Sesh back as the central spy, continuing the story after the events and revelations of Goodachari. This time, though, the film appears to be aiming for a much larger international setting.
Wamiqa Gabbi has joined the cast as Agent 116, while Emraan Hashmi is set to appear in an important role. Supriya Yarlagadda, Murali Sharma and Madhushalini are also returning, helping connect the new film to the original.
